  • Part 5 - Letters of Reference

    PROVIDE THREE PERSONS FOR REFERENCE. These individuals should be familiar with your family history, academic history, and career goals. Past accomplishments and comments about your leadership potential should be stressed. (No Family Members) Two references MUST be from faculty or administrators at your college familiar with your academic work. One reference may be from a personal/professional relationship outside of your educational institution. Please ask these three persons to mail their references to the Women's Forum office(attn: Education Fund), in a sealed envelope, with their signature on the back of the envelope. As we receive many qualified applications, the role, position, and stature of your references and their ability to write convincingly and substantively of your promise will carry significant weight.

  • Part 6 - Personal Essays

  • Essay #1 - Please describe your personal history, challenges, obstacles, other than financial, that you have overcome while pursuing an education, and your general academic record as an indication of noteworthy leadership promise. (Financial need will be addressed separately.)
  • Essay #2 - Please describe your career goals and motivation. If appropriate, you may want to briefly describe any meaningful involvement, as well as any leadership experience, in community service, art, athletics, business, science, or other extracurricular activities.
  • Part 7 - Financial Statement

  • Describe your present and anticipated financial situation. Please state how receiving this Award will help achieve your goals. Financial need, as well as challenges surmounted and leadership potential, are considered by the Women's Forum Education Fund Award Committee.
  • Part 8 - Transcript
