LINDA WILLETT, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, received the Distinguished Alumni Award from her alma mater, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, on April 4th. Linda was nominated for this recognition by the Dean for the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and is one of only a few hundred alumni recognized for their distinguished careers since the inception of this awards program twenty years ago. Linda is also excited to share that she has been elected to the board of the Liberty Science Center. LSC’s mission is to “inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers and excite learners of all ages about the power, promise and pure fun of science and technology.” In addition to building a world-class planetarium, they are also planning on creating a school dedicated to STEM education. Linda hopes to host a Women’s Forum Program at LSC in the not-too-distant future!
